Nothing big...

...just normal life. Summer is chilly this year as weather plays funny with us. Big rain storms and tornado watches pop up often but so far we have been blessed to not have anything severe. I do wonder about this global warming thing as people are wearing sweatshirts on June 18th.
Summer Reading Club has begun at the library and kids, tweens and teens are signing up to read. I hope they stick with it and enjoy a lot of good books. I also volunteered to help with the kids club at church this summer so I'll be busy there also.
Janet Evanovich's new book is out and that is next on my reading list. Elizabeth Lowell's newest "Blue Smoke & Murder" was pretty good. I can't say that I've liked everything she's written but her newest stuff is pretty good. Summerfest is this weekend with bake sales, book sales, parades, craft shows, kids games and fireworks. Busy, busy, busy!
Me and my car are doing good. I'm getting 27-30 mpg just on short trips to work & back. Someone rammed me in a parking lot and I've already had to get my grill and fender repaired. (Bummer) Of course they didn't leave anything to let me know it had happened so it wasn't until 2 days later that my dad noticed and wondered what I had done to it.
I've got to get back to cleaning my desk. It's a whole day project!
