...vacation! Okay so it is only a long weekend but if weather permits I'm heading to Indiana for some fun and relaxation. I've stocked up on books and movies and will get a chance to visit with Darren and Hazel. As Mary says it is getting harder and harder to work in our old, falling apart library when the new one is getting ready. We've had another major leak that resulted in a couple days of sucking up water and chipping away at the ice sculpture that had adhered to the wall outside.
I'm going car shopping tomorrow with Mom and Dad. It's going to be a fact finding mission and maybe if things come together I can buy a new car Friday morning to go to Indiana. I'll need to pray hard about it so I get a great car at an affordable price.

The Great Divide...
...isn't just geographical, it has proven to be political also. I may be young by some peoples standards but in my opinion the last 5 years has shown an ever widening divide in America. It's not just Republicans and Democrats it goes deeper. The is an overwhelming influence that is trying to destroy the very foundation that America was established under. I realize that Satan is the main force but he has seduced people from Hollywood to Washington DC in the lie that 'separation of Church and State' means that Christianity and God should be obliterated for all public areas and discussions yet it doesn't apply to any other religion.
In an age when 'tolerance' is supposed to be the buzz word for all disagreements why is it that no one is willing to tolerate Bible believing Christians? Maybe because Bible believing Christians have a different definition of 'tolerance'. We are to love the sinners we come in contact with regardless of their sins, but we are not to tolerate, condone or encourage sinful behavior. This is a difficult commandment God has given us but remember that He never gives us more than what you and Him together can handle.
As the political race continues to heat up and accusations are flung far and wide, I encourage you to stand up and vote for what you believe in. I believe that life in America is changing drastically but if good men (and women) do nothing than we prepare the way for our own destruction.
There are my bogus thoughts for today. Hopefully some of it was worth reading!
